We were very lucky to get a sneak peek at a local project featuring Lincrusta this week. Quite Simply French is already a well established restaurant and now they are adding four luxury rooms to their beautiful building overlooking the Quay and Quay Meadow.
Situated just down the road from our Head Office, Quite Simply French already have 'Villa Louis' wrapped around the bar so when they wanted luxury and elegance for their new bedrooms, Lincrusta was the obvious choice. With an interior of a mix of dramatic colours and gold accents, our 'Elizabeth' design is featured, framed, behind the sumptuously oversized headboards in two of the rooms.
Expertly hung and framed by one of our recommended installers, Frank Holmes, one is finished with a matte, off white paint and finished with gold (nearly!) leaf on the relief. The other is a subtle sheen copper paint with an oxidised effect to finish. We felt like proud parents seeing our product in such a beautiful space!
We love our classic and traditional finishes but it was refreshing to see one of our designs in such a contemporary and on-trend interior. It goes to show just what can be done with Lincrusta and how it can be integrated into any interior.
