A Big Year for Lincrusta

27-02-2020 NewsExhibitionUncategorised

Even though we are still in the early part of 2020, we will soon be partaking in our second exhibition of the year at London Design Week.  We have already started the New Year with a bang in the beautiful city of Paris. This was our first time at Paris Deco Home and what a joy it was.

Our pop-up showroom at Galerie Lecomte was the perfect space to display our own works of art.  With easels, pedestals and hanging canvasses, our expert team were able to create an engaging and tactile display.  Visitors were able to move about the space, interact with the product and really appreciate the unique qualities of Lincrusta.  The modern display features were perfect to showcase some of our more contemporary designs that possibly altered some visitor's impression that Lincrusta can only be used in a traditional setting.

The very talented Evgenia was also on hand to demonstrate her expert skills on some sample boards.  Sat at her easel, paint brush in hand, visitors were mesmerised by the transformation from the natural colour of raw Lincrusta to paint effects like this...

Thank you to all the visitors who were inspired and whom also inspired us!

Next up is London Design Week '20 where we will be a part of this bustling, exciting event for the second time.  Our showroom in the East Wing of the Design Centre only opened last year and is full of large panels and swatches to show as many finishes as possible.

Katia, the showroom manager will be on hand to help with any queries and on Sunday 8th March at 2pm, our Technical Manager,  Andy Sarson will be giving a unique masterclass. As well as imparting his expert techniques and extensive historical knowledge, there will also be the chance to get creative and paint your own bespoke piece of Lincrusta!

We will see you there!
